Fenland and Three Counties running clubs got together for a social distance relay

Fenland and Three Counties running clubs got together for a Three Counties running Club social distance relay.

The race was the brainchild of Fenland’s Andy Beveridge, to raise money for mental health charity Cambridgeshire, Peterborough and South LincolnshireMIND.

The relay started at 7am on Saturday, finishing at 7pm, then started again at 7am on the Sunday with the last runner finishing at 7pm.

There was a total of 110 runners taking part from TCRC, Fenland and Globetrotters,and so far the event has raised a fantastic £2,200.

TCRC members who took part in the event were Jennie Sinclair, Tracy Pratt, Sarah Clark, Ewa Szczygielska, Josh Trundle, Rickie Trundle, Lorraine Parker, Molly Gayler, Debbie Agger , Jacqueline McGonigle, David O’Brien, Matt Hunter, Tracy Adams, Dawn Ball, Amy Baxter, Mandy Doggett, Steve Bennington, Mark Mattless, Anne-Marie Mattless, Alice Ingman, Gary Bligh, Sarah-Jane Macdonald and Maisie Macdonald.

Mandy Doggett (below) took part in her first half marathon and ran it in a great time of 2:57:56.
