Newton Bowls Club members say 'come and have a go'

“Need some exercise? Need to get out? Need something local to do with the children or grandchildren?

Come and learn to play bowls.”

That’s the message from Newton Bowls Club, whose members are willing to teach you the game – all you need is a flat pair of shoes.

Bowls is a game that can be played by anyone over ten-years-old although children under 18 must be accompanied by an adult.

Social distancing rules are strictly adhered to and toilet facilities are available. You will need to bring your own drinks.

There is also a specially adapted wheelchair available if needed.

To arrange having a go, call Jill (01945 871033) or Neil (01945 871 420).
