LEARN MORESkipper Rob Tombs hit a defiant 108 not out as March 2nd XI were knocked off top spot in CCA Senior League Division 1, following a 58-run defeat at Needingworth.
Apart from the man-of-the-match century, that came off 90 balls and contained seven ‘sixes’ in 14 boundaries, no-one else reached 25 in March’s reply of 204 all out.
Needingworth posted a huge 262 all out, having been 20-2 and 107-6. When March were on top, seamers Stuart Mills and Nuwan Athukorala bowled well.
