There was a shield for the winning pair, named in honour of all the good work by Nick Watson for his relentless fundraising and commitment to the lake.
Many contributors also played a big part, and Darryl Spain of Outdoor Antics was thanked for providing many match prizes.
The winning pair with a combined weight of 96lbs 11oz were John Bishop and Pete Marson.
The midweek match under floodlights saw Jonny Clark take first place with 80lbs 9oz .
Next match will be on Saturday, which is qualifier three for a place in the grand final with a prize of £1,500 for the winner.
