Parson Drove make it five wins in six ahead of trip to unbeaten league leaders Haverhill Rovers

Parson Drove are just three points off the Thurlow Nunn First Division North play-off places after thrashing ninth-place Leiston U23s 5-1 at home.

Jacke Kent scored twice and Corey Kingston was also on target as Drove’s biggest win of the season made it three wins on the bounce.

"It was another positive result," said manager Arran Duke.

"The lads are clicking at the moment with five wins from our last six. It has given us real confidence and we are now backing up performances with results."

Duke’s men face a big challenge on Saturday when they travel to play unbeaten league leaders Haverhill Rovers.

"Saturday will be a tough fixture but we shall go there with confidence and nothing to fear and hope to cause an upset," said Duke.
