Parson Drove confirm signings of Connor Pilbeam, Karl Anderson, Luke Crombie, Kyle Bird and Evander Jose

Parson Drove’s squad is taking shape after a flurry of player commitments as the new season approaches.

A busy end to last week saw Connor Pilbeam and Karl Anderson link up with new manager Arran Duke’s squad.

Those additions followed on from a number of last year’s first team roster signing on for another year.

Josh Gear, Callum Brown, Gary Smith and Kevin Smith all pledged their future to Drove last week.

Earlier this month, defender Luke Crombie, midfielder Kyle Bird and forward Evander Jose had joined Drove - as did the experienced goalkeeper Max Flintoft and defender Dean Miller, who is also assistant manager.

Duke’s side’s pre-season campaign has contained plenty of positives so far, with a 2-2 draw with Blackstones being followed by a 4-1 victory over Leverington Sports.

The former March, Wisbech and Wisbech St Mary boss has also strengthened his backroom staff in recent days - with Michael Allesbrook joining the coaching team.

Drove were due to play Rothwell Corinthians in a friendly last night (Tuesday).
