The Cambs and Hunts Women’s golf foursomes knockout final was played at The Cambridgeshire Golf Club this month.
The final was delayed by a fortnight due to wet weather but the event started in April with 19 pairs taking part but only two reaching the final.
Emma Athow and Gail Johnson from Ramsey GC (formerly from March GC), played against a pair from Gog Magog club.
Athow and Johnson won the trophy on the 14th hole after going five holes up with four to play. The trophy was presented by county president elect Ros Bartlett.
Athow said: “Gail and I regularly play golf together, which helped us understand each other’s game. We are delighted to have won the whole competition.”
