Ex-England internationals Jane and Jill Powell deliver training session to March Marvels cricket team

Ex-England internationals Jane and Jill Powell were on hand to deliver a coaching session to the March Marvels.

The twins put the Marvels through a ninety-minute series of cricketing drills, before taking part in a Q&A hosted by Stephen Wallis.

Neil Liversedge, lead coach of the Marvels, said: "Jane and Jill delivered an inspirational evening to the March Marvels. Both are really lovely ladies with outstanding playing and coaching experience. Just a fun night."

Jane captained England in the 1988 World Cup Final and coached her country on their 2002/03 Ashes tour, while Jill emigrated to Perth, Australia after playing international cricket.

Marvels captain Lois Hopkins said: "It was an absolute pleasure and honour to have Jane and Jill Powell come and deliver a coaching session and Q&A afterwards.

"It was an incredible experience, everyone enjoyed it so much and took a lot away from it. Certainly something the Marvels will never forget."
