Three Counties Running Club members in action at Disney race in Florida - as well as Cyprus and Malta events

It was all about the jet-setters when Three Counties Running Club members took part in events in Florida, Cyprus and Malta.

Alice Ingman enjoyed a magical weekend at the 2023 Disney Race at the Walt Disney World Resort in America.

The half marathon saw participants encouraged to dress up as their favourite fairytale character, starting and finishing in Epcot.

Runners go through the entrance to the Magic Kingdom and the course highlight is a run down Main Street towards the castle.

A gospel choir sang the runners in towards the end of the course, where Jeff Galloway was at the finish line giving high fives.

Alice had a great run and loads of fun, finishing in a time of 2:52:31.

Elsewhere, Victoria May enjoyed the sun as she took part in the Malta Half Marathon.

Both the marathon and the half-marathon passed through countryside and built-up areas and finished in Sliema, a popular town promenade. Both routes include a drop of 200 metres from start to finish.

It was a very warm day in Malta and Victoria managed to run a fantastic PB of 2:03:36.

And Louise Drew, who has had a big break from running, decided to take part in her first race in years in Cyprus.

Louise took part in a 5km fun run at The Logicom Cyprus Marathon.

She finished the race well and with a smile on her face, and then enjoyed a well deserved beer in the sun.
