Fenland Running Club’s Hammond getting in top gear

Richard Hammond was the sole Fenland Running Club member taking part in the City of Norwich Trowse 10K on Sunday, which is a two-lap course with some challenging climbs skirting along Whitlingham Broad in Norfolk.

In his first race of the year, Richard came a creditable 44th out of the 576 finishers in a time of 39.44.

Also in action for FRC were Justin Showell and Dan Carrington, who undertook the arduous task of completing a Cross Country Marathon on a muddy 12-lap course at Delapre Abbey in Northamptonshire. In a field of 19, Justin finished 7th place in 4.20.17 and Dan finished 17th in 4.44.21.
