Wisbech Town manager Allan Ross announces signings of Jordan Nuttell and Jude Adebayo

Wisbech Town have bolstered their squad with two new arrivals.

New boss Allan Ross brought in Jordan Nuttell and Jude Adebayo yesterday after being rocked by the departures of Brody Warren and top goalscorer Toby Allen.

Nuttell - the son of former Fenman Micky - has linked up with the Pitching In Northern Premier League Midlands Division side after a spell out of the game.

The 26-year-old striker has played for the likes of Boston Town, Boston United, Spalding United and Pinchbeck United.

Wisbech manager Ross said: "Nutts was in demand and I'm overjoyed to bring him to the club, I was already aware he had received offers from teams in this division and above recently.

"His presence and strength to hold the ball up will improve how we play and connect us in the final third. Nutts will score goals and be a handful for defenders.

"We have agreed for him to continue his fitness programme in the gym this week and will make his debut at Shepshed a week Saturday."

Meanwhile, defender and defensive midfielder Adebayo has joined the Fenmen from Frickley Athletic. This season, he has also appeared for Ossett United, Sleaford Town and Grantham Town.

The 22-year-old has also enjoyed stints with Marlow Town, Nuneaton Borough and VCD Athletic.

On his addition, Ross said: "Jude comes highly recommended. His quality and ability to play in defence and midfield gives us more strength in depth.

"Having played at Step 3 this season, Jude can comes straight into the squad in great shape. We've had a good conversation about his long-term future so we will welcome with the hope that he hits the ground running."

Adebayo will go straight into the Wisbech squad for tomorrow's trip to Loughborough Dynamo.
