Wisbech snap up Portuguese winger

Winger Rodrigo Silva has signed for Wisbech Town from Pitching In Northern Premier League Premier Division side Grantham Town.

The 19 year-old played for several clubs in his native Portugal before joining the Gingerbreads' academy and was awarded a first team contract last season. He went on loan to Newark Flowserve in September 2019.

Manager Brett Whaley said: "Rodrigo was recommended to us after really impressing in academy football, and his initial progression into men’s football.
