Sydney Davis and Eleanor McLeish linked up well to set up Kayleigh Churchyard, who side-footed the ball in for a second on the stroke of half-time.

The Hares had a strong debut from Josie Turner, who was sent through by McLeish and scored with a smart finish to make it 3-0.

Newmarket scored a well-worked consolation goal late on but the final word went to the Hares, when Davis set up McLeish, scoring the fourth goal in injury time.
