Football: Chatteris Town friendly draw vs Ely City at the Unwin Ground
Chatteris Town FC came away with a 1-1 friendly draw against Ely City at the Unwin Ground.
Jermaine Watson gave the Lilies the lead after some good work down the right-hand side.
Ely pulled a goal back just before half-time. In the second half Ely were on top but some solid defending from Chatteris saw the game finish in a draw.
The Lilies' final pre-season game will be at home to Netherton United at West Street on Wednesday, August 8 (6.45pm KO, £2 entry).
The Kershaw Cambs League Premier season starts on Tuesday, August 13 (6.15pm) with the Lilies hosting Hemingfords Utd.
