Two through to Shield final at Buttonhole Lake

The Autumn/Winter Shield competition has started at Buttonhole Lake in Marshland St James.
This consists of 10 qualifiers over the next five months, with two anglers each qualifying for the march 2021 two-day final.
There is £1,000 for the winner with payouts further down the field,
The first two anglers to qualify were Stephen Freeman on peg fourwith 100lbs 12oz. He fished maggots to good effect, cupping micros overtop on the pole.
Liam Easey also booked his place in next year's final, fishing long over at 14 metres to the island from peg 19, catching 45lbs 8oz.
