Captain Mattless makes 230th appearance for the Hares

A Craig Gillies brace ensured March Town United took the FA Vase scalp of hosts Bourne Town 4-3 on Saturday.

The former King’s Lynn and Chatteris striker bagged the Man of the Match award, while Rob Conyard and Toby Allen were the other goalscorers for the visiting Hares.

First team captain Max Mattless made his 230th appearance for the Hares during the tie.

Wisbech St Mary exited the competition 3-2 at Framlingham Town.

Wisbech St Mary scorers were Ben Coe and Aidan Sewell.

In the Thurlow Nunn Eastern League First Division North, Saints next Saturday travel to Cornard United, while March entertain Harleston Town.
