Chatteris Lilies' new kits have been sponsored by Jack's Supermarket
Chatteris Lilies have been boosted by a new kit sponsorship deal provided by a local business.
Jack's Supermarket, on Fenland Way, has generously donated brand new kits for the team to keep players warm as their new winter season kicks off.
Jack's sponsors local children's teams to provide a fun and safe environment to help kids stay active, and staff are passionate about supporting local sports at a grassroots level.
In addition to the new kits, Jack's will be supporting the team throughout the year by providing them with drinks and snacks for training sessions, vouchers, and other prizes for special rewards.
Peter Lonsdale, store manager at their Chatteris store, said: "Sponsoring children's teams is just one of the many ways we plan to help the community of Chatteris. We hope the team gets lots of use out of their new tracksuits and wish them all lots of luck with the upcoming season."
Jason Day, from Chatteris Lilies, said: "The girls were so excited to get their new match kits. With COVID and the lockdowns we have been set back a little. We are now back to a full team of 16 and are raring to go.
"Massive thanks to Jack’s for their continued support to our Chatteris Lilies U13 Girls team. This is now the second year now we have had their sponsorship for Bench jackets last year and match kits. They look fantastic."
