Gedney Hill golfers impress in Ping Mixed 4 Ball Better Ball Finals
Two Gedney golfers have been in the thick of the four-ball action.
In July, Gedney Hill Golf Club held a qualifying competition for the Ping Mixed 4 Ball Better Ball competition.
Nick and Kim Markillie won the competition with 49 points, and in turn qualified for the Ping Mixed 4 Ball Better Ball Finals which were held at Thonock Park last Tuesday.
More than 50 pairs from all over the country played in the final, and the Gedney Hill husband and wife team came second with 45 points.
They each won a golf bag, a £200 voucher to be spent on Ping clothing and an engraved glass bowl.
The winning pair just about edged them out with 50 points, highlighting their great achievement.
