Black Cats Bowls Club attend Potter's EBF Bowls Break at Hopton-on-Sea
Black Cat Bowls Club had five teams of bowlers and their supporters attend Potter's EBF Bowls Break at Hopton-on-Sea.
After winning four rounds in the round robin stage and three knockout rounds, one team found themselves in the final against a team from Nottingham who had won the competition six times previously.
Despite some good bowls the team of Carol Miller, Colin Cousins , Pauline Ayres and Colin Ayres, who all play at March IBC, ended the game as runners up.
There was great support from the Black Cats, with 26 staying to watch.
Prizes were presented by national presidents Trevor Hardingham and Paula Gooch.
The event is one of the highlights of the indoor bowls calendar, with this year being the 25th time Hopton-on-Sea has hosted it.
Some of the world's best players regularly attend the competition.
Next year's EBF break for 4 nights starts on February 27.
