March Athletic Club had members at the Round Norfolk Relay and the Chester Half Marathon
March Athletic Club runners took to the Round Norfolk Relay over the weekend.
Two teams entered the gruelling race, which made its grand return after being cancelled last year.
197.62 miles in length and split into 17 unequal stages, the route follows the Norfolk county border.
March's A Team came home in 26:54:18, which gave them a respectable 23rd position out of 53 teams.
Toni Alcaraz and Kanina O'Neil excelled, with the former the fastest lady in Stage One and the latter second-fastest in Stage Two
The B Team weren't too far behind and crossed the line in 27:24:07, giving them a 31st place finish.
Racers started and finished in King's Lynn, with the shortest stage 5.49 miles in length and the longest at 19.67. Cycle support was required due to night-time racing.
Elsewhere, March runner Geraldine Larham completed the Chester Half Marathon in 1:36:04, making her the second fastest in her age category.
