Work commitments leads to the departure of March Town's assistant manager

March Town have announced the departure of assistant manager Simon Roberts.

Roberts arrived at the club last September following spells as manager with Netherton, Holbeach and Yaxley.

He helped the Hares enjoy a successful season on the pitch, reaching two cup finals and enjoying a record-breaking run in the FA Vase.

A statement today read: "As confirmed by Simon Roberts on social media today, Robbo has decided to step away from his duties at March Town United due to work commitments.

"The club would like to thank Robbo for his hard work and commitment since joining the club in September 2024 and wish him all the best with his new business venture.

"You’ll always be welcome at the GER Robbo."
