March Town have this evening confirmed the appointment of Ash Taylor as their new manager.

Taylor has been interim boss since Arran Duke was dismissed by the Hares in August after losing their first six games of the season.

The former U18s manager has turned the club's fortunes round and they are now 13th in the table, having won six of his seven home games.

A statement from the club reads: "We thank Ash for all his hard work so far, which has improved the team, results and the club as a whole.

"We all agree that this is the right appointment and we support him and his team for the coming seasons."

Taylor has also confirmed that defender Jamie Short and midfielder Jack Rawson have left the club in pursuit of more regular first team football. Their departure follows that of captain Max Mattless and striker Brody Warren, who has joined Wisbech Town.
