March manager Duke rues individual errors

March Town manager Arran Duke was philosophical after his side's 3-1 defeat at Great Yarmouth this afternoon.

After the match, Duke said: "We made three mistakes. Individual errors have been very rare this season but today they have cost us. The lads have held their hands up for those mistakes. It is something I can accept – mistakes happen.

"We haven't been making those individual errors this season and we've been organised and disciplined. Maybe it was a little bit of rust but I don't want to use that as an excuse.

"Considering we have not played for six weeks I was happy with the way we played in the first half. After the break it got scrappy and we got frustrated at them sitting back.

"We could have gone top today so that's the disappointing thing. Maybe it got to us a little bit.

"Now we have to look ahead ahead to December 28 when we are due to entertain Wisbech St Mary. That game is still on at the moment and we are looking forward to it."
