March Town, Wisbech Town, Parson Drove and Whittlesey Athletic to play in same leagues next season
It’s a case of ‘as you were’ for Fenland’s four senior football teams after leagues for the 2025/26 season were finalised today.
March Town and Wisbech Town will continue to play in the United Counties League Premier, with The Hares in the Southern division and The Fenmen in the Northern side.
Parson Drove and Whittlesey Athletic remain in the First Division North of the Eastern Counties League.
New opponents for Drove and Athletic next season will be promoted sides Halesworth Town from Suffolk, Essex outfit King’s Park Rangers and Wroxham Reserves, and relegated outfits Clacton and Long Melford.
Coming up to UCL North are Blackstones and Derbyshire side Clay Cross Town, with Grantham Town and Sherwood Colliery dropping down to Wisbech’s division.
Rugby Town drop down to UCL South with Moulton of Northamptonshire and Nuneaton Town coming up and Atherstone Town swapping over from the Midlands League.
