March Town United appoint joint boss in United Counties League Premier Division South
March Town United have appointed Seb Hayes as joint boss with Ashley Taylor in a new-look management structure at the GER.
The Hares have made the move due to Taylor's footballing commitments at League One Stevenage.
Due to Hayes' elevation, club stalwart Luke Pepper has stepped up to become assistant manager of the United Counties League Premier Division South side.
A statement released by Taylor read: "Due to a new full-time role at Stevenage Football Club, I have made the decision to make Seb Hayes joint first team manager with myself.
"Since coming in to the football club Seb has been terrific and I’m excited with the plans we both have moving forward.
"With Seb now stepping up Luke Pepper will now become the assistant manager to further strengthen the management team.
"Pep needs no introduction and loves the club with a passion. "
On his new role, Hayes said: "It’s an absolute privilege to be part of this club and now being joint manager with Ash just tops it off for me.
"From the moment I joined the club I’ve been hooked. It’s a special place to be for not only myself but my sons as well.
"Seeing them in with the scaffold end, supporters at home games makes my day. I can’t wait for the new season to start."
Also part of the management team will be Matt Christian (first team coach), Sarah Aftelak (head of goalkeeping), Amy Humphries (head physio).
