March Town Reserves defeat Wimblington in Senior A derby encounter




March Town Reserves remain unbeaten after their opening two games in Senior A.

Liam Brady, Casey Logan, Adam Mills and James Rose in a 4-1 derby success against Wimblington, who replied through Jake Stacey.

In the GCE Hire Fleet Peterborough & District Football League Premier Division, it was a bad day at the office for Leverington Sports who suffered a 3-0 defeat at home to Warboys.

Ib Division One, Long Sutton Athletic had Calvin Bird and Jack Greenacre on target as they went down 4-2 on their travels to Eunice while Wisbech Town Reserves lost 11-0 at Netherton United.

In Division Two, Tydd Reserves are up and running for the season after a 3-1 home win against Bourne Town Reserves where Ricky Holstead, Timothy Magnus and Kai Scott-Henson were all on target.

Benjamin Thompson found the back of the net for Sutton Bridge United in a 4-1 home defeat to Park Farm Pumas Reserves and there was no joy for Leverington Sports Reserves who succumbed 3-0 at Thorney.

Leverington Sports A had Tyron Elms and Darren Hempson on the scoresheet against Uppingham Town Reserves in Division Three but remain winless after a 6-2 loss.

Long Sutton Athletic Reserves were edged out 3-2 at home to Kings Cliffe with Kye Bunce and Adam Crane finding the back of the net.

Marshland Saints picked their third win of the campaign and now sit third in Division Three North of the Anglian Combination after their opening four fixtures.

New signing Kieran Bruce was on target along with Bradley Foxwell in a 3-2 victory over Feltwell United.

Alex Jex registered twice as Marshland Saints Reserves lost a five-goal thriller at home to West Winch William Burt in Division One of the North West Norfolk League.
