Wins for March Reserves, Walpole, Fen Tigers and Outwell




The final Cambridgeshire County League games of the season were played on Saturday.

March Town Reserves beat Hemingfords United 1-0 in the Kershaw Premier and finish their first season in that division 10th out of 15.

Senior B champions AFC Walpole signed off with a 3-0 home win over Cherry Hinton Reserves, Toby Allen, Jake Miller and Niall Burton on target.

In Kershaw 3C, Fen Tigers Engineers lost 4-0 at champions Hartford Rangers, but had already sealed promotion on Tuesday when they won 4-2 at Brampton Reserves.

Hugo Bryant, George Terry, Will Terry and Kai Wales scored for the Chatteris side.

Kershaw champions Outwell Swifts rounded up their season with a 3-2 home win against Lakenheath Casuals, Aidan-Jay Lewis’ hat-trick taking him to 54 for the season.

On Friday evening, Chatteris Town lost in the final of the Creake Charity Shield at Newmarket Town.

The Lilies lost 3-0 on penalties to Great Shelford Reserves after a 1-1 draw, sub Aaron Hiscock scoring.
