Leiston U23 the next challenge for Parson Drove after Framlingham Town game called off

Arran Duke’s Parson Drove side remain in ninth place, just four points from the Thurlow Nunn Eastern Counties League First Division North play-off places, after their game at high-flying Framlingham Town was postponed on Saturday.

With the game against the third-place Castlemen called off because of a waterlogged pitch, Drove now turn their attention to Saturday, with Leiston U23 the visitors.

The Suffolk side lay just above the relegation area and it looks like a good chance for Duke’s men to add to their recent impressive league record of five wins and two draws in their last eight games.
