March Town Cricket Club's AGM sees host of new committee members appointed

March Town Cricket Club's AGM seen a number of new officers elected.

Les Mills was named the new president, with Sam Clarke to captain the Saturday first team. His vice-captain will be Brandon Phillips, with Ross Clarke captaining the Sunday first team and Geoff Kirby his understudy.

Tommy Howgego and Jacob Gray are captain and vice-captain for the Saturday second team, with Manuj Patel and Harry Gowler taking those roles for the Sunday second team.

Barrie Carter will captain the third team, while James Mortlock has been named his vice-captain. Ian Liversedge will take over chairman duties, with Matt Vail (pictured) vice-chairman.

Les Mills will operate as secretary in addition to his president role, with Alan Day treasurer and Pat Ringham being named fixture secretary.

Gary Nicholls, Sarah Lemmon, Mark Deas, Manuj Patel, Neil Liversedge, Sam Clarke, Chris Ringham , Martyn Wilkinson , Lewis Welcher, Matt Vail and Steve Hinson were made committee members.

Life membership was bestowed upon long-serving players Matt Vail and Chris Ringham.
