Wisbech Samurai Karate School June grading at Marshland Hall is biggest-ever for debutants
Samurai Karate School June Grading took place at Marshland Hall Dojo.
A total of 38 students achieved new grades with 15 adult students taking their very first grade.
This was the biggest number of adults grading first time ever seen at Samurai.
Included were nine ladies from a new ladies’ class.
Sensei Steve King said: “These are the very first students to grade from this group and have done so very well since the class started. We have a group of amazing ladies in this class.”
June Grading was for beginners’ grades with 10 children taking their first grading.
A further 13 took grades unto 10th Kyu.
Ian Anderson achieved a very good Merit pass for Adult 10th Kyu.
Donna Shepperson and Alison Lucas recieved Credit passes at 10th Kyu.
Juniors Edvinas Ziska 10th Kyu, Taylor Barham 12th Kyu, Finn Peake 12th Kyu, Lexie Alexander 10th Kyu, Evie Mae Russell 10th Kyu, all recieved credit passes.
King added: “Also a thank you to our excellent coaching team in the dojos.
“These students have been assisted by Andy Watson Sensei. Likewise the ladies by Celine Holliday Senpai and Susan Powell Senpai. What an amazing team we have.”
