Sutton Bridge Golf Club, Chatteris and March walking football and bowls results among this week’s sporting round-up

Sutton Bridge Golf Club’s ladies section have been in fine form in recent weeks.

They travelled to Kirton Holme for a friendly match, emerging with a 4-0 victory.

And they followed that up with another 3-1 win against Middleton Hall Ladies, with the losing result only being decided on the 18th green.

Elsewhere, Gorefield beat March Town 4-2 in the Sutton Bridge Banks Rose Bowl League.

The score ended 66-6-, while Newton and Parson Drove played out a 3-3 draw (63-63).

March and Chatteris walking football sides are looking more players to go along to their sessions.

Predominantly for those aged over 50, members gather every Wednesday at 10am to enjoy an hour of play.

Tea and biscuits are on offer afterwards, with players sharing events in their life with one another.
