LEARN MORELeverington Ladies came out on top after a nine-goal thriller with a young Newmarket side.
Hosting their first game back after their new year break, the Ladies came from behind to claim a 5-4 victory.
After drawing 3-3 earlier in the season, goals were expected - and the home side started strong.
However, Newmarket took the lead against the run of play, swiftly slotting home a second.
Leverington hit back quickly, though, with strikes from Chloe Stanborough and Sophie Swinden making it 2-2 at half-time.
Newmarket again took the lead early in the second half, but once again Swinden fired home to bring things level.
With Leverington pushing forward, they were hit on the counter attack once more and found themselves 4-3 down.
Not to be outdone, Swinden smashed home a belter to complete her hat-trick and bring the scoreline level.
And entering the dying minutes, Faye Kowalewsky latched onto an Amy Newells corner to head home and seal the three points.
