All money raised going towards new pavilion Crockey Project

Wisbech Town Cricket and Hockey Club are continuing their preparation to host Lashings Cricket Club on Friday, August 31.

All money raised will be going towards the building of a new pavilion known locally as the Crockey Project.

Lashings have just confirmed that former England spinner Monty Panesar is the latest name to be confirmed to play against Wisbech. These also include West Indian great Gordon Greenidge, Chris Lewis, John Emburey and Yasir Arafat.

There will be plenty of attractions and activities including a Kids Zone with face painting, a sweetie truck, inflatable slide, bungee run, rodeo bull, bar, food stalls. During lunch a Kwik Cricket Competition will be taking place.

Share lunch with a Lashings player by choosing a corporate table. During lunch Lashings will present their professional T20 team. Comedians, Q&A’s, music, games and an exclusive auction will keep you all entertained until lunch is served.

Lunch will consist of a three-course meal and drinks, followed by refreshments. Access to a corporate bar and gin hut will be available throughout.

T20 match to follow 4.30-7.30pm, with the bar remaining open until late.
