Wisbech Hockey and Cricket Club are in the last throes of arranging their match against a Lashing’s World XI side on Friday.

Their opponents will host former internationals such as Devon Malcolm, who famously took 9 for 57 against South Africa, Warren Hegg, John Emburey, Gordon Greenidge and Chris Lewis, with money raised going towards a new pavilion.

The day starts at 11am with a coaching sessions that is open to all juniors and there will also be a chance to get autographs and selfies with the players. Entry to the ground is free.

There will be plenty of attractions and activities including a Kids Zone with face painting, a sweetie truck, inflatable slide, bungee run, rodeo bull, bar, food stalls, etc.

During lunch a Kwik Cricket Competition will be taking place.
