Leverington Sports A and Hampton A share spoils after six-goal Peterborough League Division Four thriller
Many games were again called off because of waterlogged pitches on Saturday but our featured match did go ahead and was a six-goal thriller between Leverington Sports A and Hampton A.
Robert Hitchcock scored all three goals for Sports as they drew the mid-table Peterborough League Division Four clash 3-3.
In the Premier Division Leverington’s first team stay in the championship race with a 2-0 home win over Holbeach United Reserves.
The win keeps them in fifth place, nine points from leaders Uppingham Town but with four games in hand.
There was, however, a setback for Tydd in their fight against relegation as they slip back into the bottom two after a 4-3 defeat in a brilliant game at bottom side Ramsey Town.
Tydd had fought back from 3-0 down after 30 minutes with goals from Mitch Johnson, Marcio Martins and Sam Bedwell-Byatt, only for Town to come back with a winner in the 93rd minute when Tydd were down to ten men because of Tim Magnus being sin-binned.

In the Premier Division of the Cambs County League, Wisbech St Mary slip to third from bottom after a 2-0 defeat at Hemingfords United who leapfrog them in the table.
In Senior B Wimblington overtook March Town Reserves into third place and put themselves firmly in the promotion mix after a fantastic 7-1 win at Abington United.
