Three podium places in Shouldham XC Series

By Fenland Citizen Reporter

Another very wet and windy weekend of running for Three Counties Running Club but they still managed to pull out PB’s and podium places.

The weekend started with husband and wife Phil and Vicki Newton (below) taking part in the Cambridge boundary run, a 13.1 mile loop either as a half marathon or full marathon. The course is part road, footpaths and muddy trail paths around and on the outskirts of Cambridge.

Phil and Vicki started and finished the half marathon together, crossing the line in a PB time for Vicki of 1:52:35.
