Fen running club provides dash of colour to 5k event




On Saturday Three Counties Running Club was proud to be asked by Tinfish Creative Communications to help support The Brinks Colour Run 5k event

The Leverington-based club did this by supplying the paint splashers, marshalls and course set up.

The fun event was to raise money for Octavia Hill Birthplace House Museum.

There was 200 participants this year enjoying the sun, run and getting doused in paint powder by the smiling TCRC team of splashers situated around the course.

Tracey Else and Emma Sage were smashing PB’s in Swaffham at the first event of the Sublime 10k. On a warm day with an undulating out and back course Else had a fantastic time of 51:26PB, also securing 2nd in age. Sage got a great time of 1:17:34 knocking minutes off her previous 10k time.

Deeping 10k saw a great result for Elisabeth Sennitt-Clough finishing with a fantastic PB of 45:38 and also finishing 3rd Female overall.

Parkrun results, Huntington: Steve Clarke 30:27. Gorleston Cliffs: Daniel Barnes 19:57. Boston: Colin Apps 23:17. March: Victoria May 32:05.

Other results: Keith White completed the MK marathon in 5:01:30. Belvoir Castle, Grantham, saw Aaron Petts complete the Tough Mudder course In 3hrs 40.
