LSHC Men’s 3rd 0

In the penultimate game, Sutton took on the champions for one last time.

At half time, the game was still 2-0 but Leadenham scored early in the second half. The loss of a Sutton player to the sin bin did not deter them. With nine minutes to go, after an incident near the Sutton D, a Leadenham player was shown a straight red card for violent conduct.

LSHC Men’s 4th 2,

Louth 2nds 0

Sutton secured their best season’s tally ever with strikes from John Goodley and Gary Hales.

LSHC Ladies 3,

Wisbech Town 2nds 0

Sutton pressed hard and Robyn Gribble fed the ball to Leanne Woodhead who nicely slotted it away.

Wisbech couldn’t get past the expert keeping from Wallis.

Baker, Parr, Carr, Leuty and Southgate set up Gribble at the back post to score. Woodhead made it 3-0.

Leadenham 1sts 4,

LSHC Ladies 2nd 0

Sutton Seconds travelled with 10 to top three opposition on the last match day of the season.

A great performance from all, and especially Jayme Hunt who was Player of the Match.
