March Eye up 10k prize treble in popular race
March AC scooped three prizes at the Eye 10K race on Sunday.
Debra Wait was the third lady to cross the line with a time of 41 minutes 38 seconds (62nd) followed by Geraldine Larham, who won the fifth lady prize with 42.31 (71st).
Andrew Larham gave an impressive performance with 41.06 (51st) which gave him the 1st Vet 55 prize.
The juniors were also out in force taking part in the 3k fun run. Luke Gardner was the first junior home for the club in 12 minutes 32 seconds and 10th overall, Megan Stacey was the first club girl with 14 minutes 28 seconds and 45th overall in a field of over 150 runners.

l Fenland Running Club have had a busy week competing in races around the country and region with three at Milton Keynes on Bank Holiday Monday and on Sunday, one at the Manchester 10K, two at Dereham and 17 at Eye.
Nicky Jennings at her first Marathon at Milton Keynes came in 447th of 1,559 runners and 14th FV40 out of 136 in a time of 3.50.31, Andre Pittock and Marc Martin completed the half marathon in 139th place in 1.36.03 and 696th place in 1.57.16 respectively out of 1,677 finishers.
In Manchester on Sunday, Martin Jennings ran in the Manchester 10K alongside some big celebrity names and came home in a PB time of 36.29 in 103rd position in a field of approximately 40,000 entrants.
At the Dereham Runners 10-mile race, FRC were represented by Clive Harrod and Ian Milburn with a finishing field of 284. Clive was 48th in a time of 71.30 and Ian was 68th and second in the MV65 category in a time of 73.13.
At the Eye Community Runners 10K, 17 FRC runners were amongst the 513 finishers with Andrew Plume first home in 17th place in a time of 37.27. In the prizes was Maire Irlam who won the FV50 category in a time of 43.46.
