March Athletics Club send three teams to Green Wheel Relay

March Athletics Club submitted three different teams for the Green Wheel Relay.

This is a fabulous event in which there are seven legs. The 'Amps Champs' were first in their category as they finished in 5:08:21 for the 50-mile stretch.

The other two teams also performed well and enjoyed the event, with 'PTC and Friends' finishing in 7:22:59 and 'Jo's Jolly Joggers' coming through in 7:34:17.

Elsewhere, Dean Markillie completed the Sandringham Half Marathon along with four others.

Dean finished in 1:41:34, and was followed by Paul Revell in 1:45:56.

Andrew Jakeman starred for March at the North Norfolk Triathalon as he came home in second place.

He finished in 2:04:04 and recorded the fastest ever running leg. Mick Stacey was also home for March as he completed yet another fabulous triathalon.

Ryan Jarvis continued his marathon madness as he ran the Big Bear Red Kite challenge in 4:07:47, the fastest of the marathon runners. He also went out and ran the Sandringham Half Marathon in 2:03:23.
