March juniors remain in a podium spot after latest race in Frostbite League
March Athletic Club members took on the challenge of the Frostbite League for yet another week.
The event took place in Hinchingbrooke Country Park, providing a challenging course with plenty of mud for the runners.
The club's juniors picked up where they left off after last week's strong performance at Bawsey Park, retaining their position in the league in third.
Archie Bullman led the way by finishing second overall with Archie McClure shortly behind.
Rowan Whittlesey was the third scoring boy in 12:05. Liberty Sibthorp was next through the finish line in 12:08 followed by Sasha Bland to round out the points scorers for the club.
In the seniors race, it was another fantastic week for Glen Watts as he won the race for the second week in a row in an impressive time of 28:47.
Serge Lambert, Henrik Stoner and Dean Markillie were next to cross the line as the trio put forward strong showings once again. Next over the line was leading lady Toni Alcaraz just under the 40-minute mark.
Samantha Hodson and Tina Lambert were the next two ladies across the line helping the team retain their 5th spot position.
Elsewhere, Dawn Goodley completed the Milkwood Half Marathon, a tough course with beautiful views along the way.
Goodley enjoyed a strong run and completed the race in just under two hours.
