Hares striker Ondre Odain went from hero to villain in this Thurlow Nunn League Division One derby.

Odain scored on 82 minutes, but was sent off in the last minute, for kicking out at an opponent.

Lewis McManus, Gerard Evans and Jordan Fiddes were all out for the visitors in a dour derby as the wind made attractive play difficult.

Dan Woods had to retire injured after getting a kick, but shortly afterwards a long kick from keeper Dave Beeny seemed to confuse the home defenders and Odain lobbed it over their heads and the keeper into the net.

Beeny made two good late saves before Odain was sent off after he retaliated.

March next Saturday host Woodbridge Town.

Last night they travelled to Great Yarmouth Town.

Team: Beeny, Jackman, Young, Merryweather, Goult, Mattless, Flatters, Pepper, Woods (Watson) Odain, Davey Subs not used: Conyard, McLoughlin.
