Bury St Edmunds and Corby the weekend destinations for March athletes

March Athletic Clubs Joanne Anderson-Wenn, a long-distance running star, completed The Lucky Horseshoe marathon.

She finished the race in 05:25:06 on a tough trail course with multiple undulating stretches.

Elsewhere, Mike Blackledge, March AC club coach, completed the Corby Summer Half Marathon finishing in 01:50:04.

Despite tough conditions and lots of rain, Blackledge showed his determination to produce a great performance.
