Chester, Hackney and Deeping the destinations for March athletes in recent competitions




In the Hackney Half Marathon, March Athletic Club's Sandor Molnar ran a personal best of 1:39:03, maintaining a strong pace throughout the 21.1km course.

At the Chester Half Marathon, Andrew Cole clocked 1:28:24 and was first home for the club.

Michael Boxall followed in 1:32:38, with solid pacing across the flat course.

Patricia Cole ran 1:58:58, and Rachel Boxall finished in 2:19:03, both showing great consistency over the distance.

In the Bury to Clare 18-mile trail race, Alan Brown and Jason Mottram ran together to finish just half a second apart in 3:12:16 and 3:12:17, respectively, over a tough off-road route.

At the Deepings 10k, Steve Beasley ran 36:44, winning the M35–39 category. Kanina O’Neil ran 39:40, winning the F35–39 category and finishing as second female overall.

Mick Stacey posted 47.24, Mike Blackledge completed the race in 47:38, and Samantha Hodson ran 49:03. Roma O’Neil finished in 1:01:55 and was placed third in the F65–69 category.
