March AC’s Mark Godfrey secures top-10 finish at the annual Eye 10k event in 38 minutes 32 seconds

March AC were well represented at the annual Eye 10k event.

The Eye 10k is known for its heat and that pattern did not change this year with the runners tackling the warm weather on the course.

Mark Godfrey secured a top-10 finish in a time of 38mins32sec with Andy Cole second for the team in 40.55.

Kanina O'Neil won the race as the first lady home in a fantastic time of 41.30.

Two March AC runners took part in the Burghley Multisport Weekend Half Marathon.

Dawn Veal finished the race in 2hr19min57sec, a strong performance as she continues to build up towards longer races later this year.

Helen Bradley completed her first half marathon in 2:36.57 with a great run.

In Leeds, Fiona Graham completed another marathon by finishing the hilly course in 4:30.09 as she ran a strong race.
