March swimmers contest Club Championships and also swim at Whittlesey and Newmarket




March Marlins hosted the first round of the annual Club Championships.

Many swimmers competed with lots showing their bravery in their first competition.

The Blue Army also attended the final round of the Junior Fenland League at Manor Leisure Centre in Whittlesey.

Head coach Sue Cole said: "The team showed their true colours in the relay."

The team managed to achieve a second-place finish in the relay by fighting so hard.

The team placed second in the A final, which is the final round for the top four teams.

Swimmers achieved 23 PBs as the Blue Army finished fourth place out of the 12 teams competing at the JFL.

On Sunday, a group of swimmers attended the Newmarket Sprint Meet 2024 at Newmarket Leisure Centre.

The swimmers did their best at this busy weekend as many were awarded medals and there were 34 PBs earned.
