Wisbech & King's Lynn Tang Soo Do Martial Arts Club ace Sophia Stanton seals Great Britain slot in World Championships in America

Martial artist Sophia Stanton travelled over to Rotterdam to represent Great Britain in the 2019 World Tang Soo Do Association European Championship.

The dedicated student from Wisbech & King's Lynn Tang Soo Do Martial Arts Club has now qualified for next year's World Championships in America.

The championship was held in Schiedam, in The Netherlands.

There were around 300 competitors in attendance and also the association's GrandMaster from the USA.

Sophia won 1st place in all three of her competition categories – weapons, forms and sparring – and is now ranked European champion.

Sophia has now qualified to represent GB at the World Championships, which are held in North Carolina, USA, in July 2020.
