March young star Cook-s up British Mini Bike fastest time
March’s young superstar Harry Cook went two seconds quicker than the rest of the British Mini Bike GP field at 3 Sisters Circuit last weekend.
Cook had a fast crash in Lunar bend, which resulted in a broken collar bone, later on in the race.
The 11-year-old is tipped to be the next best British Moto GP star from the UK and has entered the British Talent Cup at Silverstone in August.
If selected it will propel Cook into the history books for the Fens as for the 2019 season he rides a Honda Moto 3 Bike in the Talent Cup series.
He said: “I am in good spirits. The crash didn’t scare me; I was more worried about how long my recovery will be.
“Over the next two weeks I will be receiving laser and magnetic treatment on my shoulder which will get me ready for my return to the European Cradle of Champions championship where I will practise for the British Talent Cup.
“I would like to say thank-you for all the kind messages and my parents for being able to speed up my recovery through advance treatment technologies. Hopefully I will be back soon to bring home some more trophies for the Fens.”
