Parson Drove plans progressing well

Plans for the new Eastern Counties League season are progressing well at Parson Drove.

Drove, who travel to play March Town Reserves in a friendly on Saturday, have made several signings under new manager Arran Duke.

The former March, Wisbech and Wisbech St Mary boss has brought in defender Luke Crombie, midfielder Kyle Bird, attacking wideman Evander Jose and experienced goalkeeper Max Flintoft.

Last season’s Young Player of the Year Josh Gear has also committed for another season.

Duke has also appointed former March central defender Dean Miller as his number two at Main Road.

Miller will also be a key player for Drove, who entertain Rothwell Corinthians in another friendly next Tuesday. Drove have been drawn at home to Norwich CBS in the FA Vase.
