March-based RKA Kickboxing Academy celebrate new world champion at 2022 WKU World Kickboxing and Karate Championships

The RKA Kickboxing Academy have just arrived back from the 2022 WKU World Kickboxing and Karate Championships.
The March-based club had ten members of its academy represent WKU Team England, with coach Stuart Harris not only competing but also being a coach for the England continuous team.
They returned with a total of 13 medals, including a new world champion in full contact kickboxing.
The medal winners were:
- Team Captain Alex Spittal, silver in full contact and bronze in light continuous kickboxing in Mens under 85kg
- RKA co-owner Stuart Harris, bronze in Mens Veterans over 45 years light continuous kickboxing
- Jack Spillett, silver medal in full contact 15-17 years
- Riley Holland, bronze medal in Mens under 75kg light continuous kickboxing and silver medal in low kick
- Oscar Atwal, bronze medal in light continuous kickboxing 13-14 years
- Paul James Haddow, bronze medal in light continuous and silver medal in low kick kickboxing 13-14 years
- Max Arnold, bronze medal in light continuous kickboxing 15-17 years
- Vojtech “Sam” Sykora, silver medal in Mens plus 90kg light continuous and team light continuous, gold medal and new world champion in full contact kickboxing
It was an outstanding performance from all of the team, and Harris said he could not be any prouder of them all.
